Ted and Bernice from New York we had met in the morning on the Petrified Forest campground. They had been traveling for two months in a borrowed van with a ramp, since Ted needs a wheelchair to get around
The two were very happy about the two cups of coffee I brought them.

Carrie and Denise are already retired have sold their home and invested in a giant mobile home. A pickup truck with a 43 foot long trailer, also known as a "Fith Wheel" in the USA. In the rear garage "lives" an ATV, an All Terrain Vehicle. Now traveling through the States.

ein supersympathisches Paar aus Lienz/Österreich, die ich im Walmart kennengelernt hatte. Die Zwei waren froh, mal wieder im Dialekt zu sprechen und wir hatten eine nette Unterhaltung.

JOSH, our Navajo tour guide on the CANYON X Photo Tour.
He showed us and the other three participants the best places in the canyon and successfully operated "crowd control" to realize photos without other people in the picture.
After the work was done, I invited him to have a Budweiser from the RV fridge.
He found my Iceland pictures quite impressive and would like to go there sometime.

the two are from Utah and we met them at "Devils Canyon" campground.
You can hardly believe it, they are already retired and have all the time to travel.
In the picture their Kenworth Expeditions motorhome and a jeep, on shorter distances they drive separately, on longer ones the jeep is pulled behind.
I am happy for you that you can live so freely!

ihn haben wir ebenfalls am Devils Canyon campground kennengelernt.
Vor seinem Ruhestand hat er beim WDR Rundfunkorchester als Trompeter gearbeitet.
Mit seiner Frau lebt er eine Teil des Jahres in der Nähe vom Bodensee und den anderen Teil fahren sie mit dem Wohnmobil durch die USA.
Ausgesprochen gute Tips haben wir von dem sympathischen Zeitgenossen bekommen, danke nochmal dafür!
Beim Wahweap overlook am Lake Powell ging die Sonne in der entgegengesetzten Richtung unter und das war die Stunde für mein Objektiv mit dem schönen Blendenstern.
Das Paar aus den Niederlanden bot sich als stimmungsvoller Vordergrund direkt an. Ich zeigte das Bild den beiden am Display hinterher und es gefiel ihnen sehr gut.

Und das war die Tour! 3000 Miles, also 4828 Km haben wir in vier Wochen abgespult, viel gesehen und dabei sehr nette und offene Menschen kennengelernt!
